You have summoned a protective spirit that bonds with your shadow. This guardian warns you of impending danger, giving you as many degrees of advantage as your Melasmagus level on checks related to ambushes or traps. Once per day, the guardian can intercept an attack meant for you, negating the damage. The spirit remains with you indefinitely but requires an offering to be awakened after a rest. If you die, the guardian will attempt to deliver a final message of your choosing to an ally before dispersing.
